On September 19th, 2023, I walked into the Valley Rescue Mission as a broken man. My life was in pieces, consumed by the grip of alcoholism, and I felt like there was no way out. I had reached rock bottom, but in that moment of despair, God’s grace and mercy met me where I was.

Through the support and love of the mission, I began to rebuild my life, one day at a time. By the power of God’s healing and the encouragement of those around me, I found the strength to break free from addiction and embrace sobriety.

Today, I am not only sober, but I also have the incredible privilege of working for the Valley Rescue Mission in Development. It’s a blessing to be part of a team that provides hope, help, and a path to restoration for others who are walking through their own struggles.

My journey is a testament to the transformative power of God’s love and the life-changing work happening at the mission. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to give back and help others find the same hope that saved me.
